    Nature Bingo : A fun and educational way to learn about the surrounding lands, nature and animals of Mississippi and its neighboring states.


    Classes we will offer:  cooking, arts and crafts, horticultural specific education, outdoor safety, fishing and hunting care.  Gardening techniques along with plant specific education. Pumpkin Carving (Thanksgiving). Christmas decorating on a budget. nutritional and health wise classes.


    Special Nights
:  Jazz corner, Poetry readings, performing arts.


    sick plant clinic:  Local community can bring their plants that are not doing well and a diagnosis will be made by professionals.


    Clubs : Walking, exercise, reading, painting, writing workshops, bag lunch clubs, gardening, cooking and performing arts clubs.


    Special Weekends : Murder Mystery, haunted tours (Halloween), Christmas Bazaar, Health Fair, thanksgiving Festival, annual plant sale, Farmer's markets, Artisan workshops, book bazaar and  the Ice Cream Social where you pick your own berry's. Arts and crafts showcase. Costume Parties (Mardi gras - Victorian era etc)  Renaissance Fair.

    We thank our friend Keith King from J D Lanham Supply Company for the suggestion of having a Hummingbird Festival.  We agree it would be a wonderful addition to our other festivals and we look forward to more suggestions from Mr. King and everyone else.

    Various other activities:  Flower arranging, Statewide competition on landscaping, floral design and plant care.  Contest for local and statewide schools.  Storytelling, puppet shows.

        Once the gardens are up and running we will offer an eight to ten week summer camp program for all local area youth and children. 
 

    We want to offer the local school systems educational opportunities, they can being students on field trips and learn about conservation, preservation, along with plant and animals care, see and hear things that are going on around the town, state, nation and world and that they can be a part of it all. 
 


    There will be spots within the gardens where individuals and groups can use for their special occasions... weddings, memorials, corporate events, anniversiaries etc.  


    CANI will eventually be producing cooking and gardening shows.


    A newsletter, with our monthly calendar of events, which will be distributed throughout the delta and mailed or emailed to all garden members.  


    Once a month we will host "Karing for the Kitchen" we will offer half prized admission to anyone who brings in either a canned product or boxed food product for the local food kitchens.
