The Community Advancement Network Inc has a 3 fold mission:


A)  Conservation and Preservation:   Providing a safe place for botanical/flora and fauna/animals from around the nation and around the world to flourish and be protected from human mishandling and natural environmental factors and providing public access to learn about these collections. CANI also hopes to provide a safe haven for artifacts and other memorabilia pertaining to the past so that the future generations still have vital links to the history of their state and local communities.


                      CANI will provide a place for the practice of the cultural arts. Various artisans will have their work and workshops on the premises and offering classes to the general public as well as a museum to highlight their specific art.


B)  Educating:  Educating the public about self-sustainability and when food products are grown and preserved properly.


                        Providing a place for education on the nutritional value and health benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables along with the daily need to keep one healthy and nutritionally sound along with basic gardening and canning techniques and other various classes. [Specializing in the use of hydroponics.]


C)   Community Welfare:   Providing land for gardening and volunteer support to low income seniors and families who are unable to provide themselves with the means of growing fresh fruits and vegetables. Inner city food programs too not only deliver to the clients the fresh produce but teach them how to grow these items within their living spaces. 
Once the gardens and farms are up and running CANI will host a youth camp consisting of an eight to ten week program which will run throughout the summer correlating with the local school systems summer vacation. Along with the summer program CANI will offer weekend and holiday programs throughout the remainder of the year.  Providing a safe alternative to the streets, providing an atmosphere of acceptability, foster learning and training young people to excel in their own community and giving them access to the tools to build their self esteem.
