Teaming Up With The Department of Environmental Quality

We are always looking for ways to fund our programs and take the burden off our wonderful members and visitors to our site.
We received an email and phone call from the Department of Environmental
Quality and had a long informative talk with Mr. John David Burns, he was so helpful in giving us information on how to set up our own recycling centers around the Delta.  They gave us a lot of useful information that will help us fund our programs with the recycling centers while assisting the communities and helping the environment.
If you would like to collect the items we will be accepting please let us know and we will gladly send you all the information you need.  The more the merrier.  If you have a business please consider letting us place some of our literature in your shop for your customers to see and take home with them.  You assistance is greatly need and appreciated.
More so, if you have a large parking lot or grassy area please consider letting us set one of our nicely designed collecting cabins on the land.  We will gladly man the buildings during opening hours and keep all land and buildings free from any form of trashy look.

WE want to collect items not only for recycling but for a monthly yard sale that we will be hosting as well as can good for the soup kitchen and food pantries.  WE really can make a difference with a little building.  Please consider assisting with this endeavor. Only when we band together can we change the face of hunger, obesity and beautify our lands.

We are planning to start the recycling program and item collection at the beginning of the year and let the holidays come and go before starting such a community based need program.  We are looking at various Cabins and specially designed sheds (rental/purchasing) and receiving quotes. if you know of someone who is in this line of work and would like to assist in supplying these type of buildings please let them and us know.
CANI will be working with local schools, churches and other non profits to educate the public on recycling and our item collection efforts - all the while - showing how it will benefit the garden programs and outreaches with the hydroponics centers (food distribution).
Check out the new page dedicated to recycling.

We have heard from our friends at the National Zoo in Washington DC and we are able to show live webcams, in our showroom, of their beautiful animals. They have Pandas,Gorillas, ferrets, and a wonderful list of others. So when we get the giftshop/showroom built you will be able to take a break with some refreshments and watch the live animals half way across our nation.
